Danny Lopez
Danny Lopez (born July 6, 1952 in Fort Duchesne , Utah , USA ) is a retired American boxer . He is of Mexican , Indian and Irish descent and was managed by Howie Steindler and Bennie Georgino .

He won his first 21 fights all by knockout. On November 11th, 1976, he competed against David Kotey for the WBC world championship belt and won over 15 rounds by unanimous decision. He defended the title a total of eight times and lost it in February 1980 to the Mexican Salvador Sánchez .
