David Le Lay (2009)

David Le Lay (born December 30, 1979 in Saint Brieuc ) is a French cyclist .

David Le Lay is the son of Gilbert Le Lay , who rode for the Fiat cycling team in 1978 and 1979 . In 2001 he won a stage in the Tour du Loir-et-Cher . Since 2005 he has been driving for the French Continental Team Bretagne-Jean Floc'h . In his first year there he won the Circuit de la Nive. A season later he was successful at the Boucles de la Soule and the Circuit du Morbihan. He also won a stage at Ruban Granitier Breton and at the Boucles de la Mayenne . In 2007, Le Lay won the Circuit de la Nive for the second time.

Le Lay started three times in the Tour de France , once in the Vuelta a España , without distinguishing himself.

At the end of 2014, Le Lay ended his cycling career with a victory in the individual time trial at the Breton championship.
