David Lorenz (born March 21, 1856 in Ogrosen ; † April 5, 1907 there ) was a German painter.

Life

Lorenz lived in Ogrosen for 32 years, after which he moved to Nuremberg for eight years and then lived again in Ogrosen until the end of his life. This is where his motifs come from , of which the image of the Ogrosen mill (which has meanwhile been torn down) is known far beyond the Spreewald .

Some of his paintings were exhibited in the Great German Art Exhibition and the House of German Art after his death .
