David Navas

David Navas Chica (born June 10, 1974 in Ávila ) is a former Spanish cyclist .

In 1996 David Navas won the Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid . Two years later he was signed by the Spanish cycling team Banesto . In 1999 he made his only start in the Tour de France , which he finished in 98th place. The following year he won the Minho Tour prologue . He then moved to Colchon Relax-Fuenlabrada , but returned after a year to his old team, which was now called Illes Balears . In 2004 he was part of the team that won the team time trial at the Vuelta a Castilla y León . From 2006 to 2007 he rode for the French ProTeam Ag2r Prévoyance , then he retired from cycling.
