The David Range is a mountain range running parallel to and 8 km from the Masson Range in the Framnes Mountains in the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson Land . It extends over a length of 26 km in a north-northeast-south-southwest orientation with peaks of up to 1500 m height.
It was discovered on February 14, 1931 during the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson . Mawson named them after his mentor Tannatt William Edgeworth David (1858-1934).
