David Zimmerhofer (born August 30, 1995 in Bozen ) is an Italian football player .
Career
Zimmerhofer began his career at FC Südtirol . In the summer of 2013 it was awarded to the AC Sambonifacese for half a year . In the summer of 2014 he moved to Austria for regional division WSG Wattens . In his first season for the Wattener, he only made five appearances in the regional league. In 2015/16 he finally became a regular player and came to 25 games. In that season he was with Wattens champion of the Regionalliga West and thus rose to professional football.
Zimmerhofer made his debut in the second division on the first day of the 2016/17 season against FC Blau-Weiß Linz .
In January 2018, his contract with Wattens was terminated. He then returned to Italy in the same month, where he joined the fifth class SSV Ahrntal .
