Trémargat ( Breton Tremargad ) is a French municipality with 186 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Guingamp and the canton of Rostrenen . In addition, the place is a member of the community association Kreiz-Breizh founded in 1993 . The inhabitants are called Trémargatois (es) .

Trémargat is located about 42 kilometers southwest of Saint-Brieuc in the southwest of the Côtes-d'Armor department.

history

The community was formed in 1851 from parts of the then community of Plounévez-Quintin .
