Phusro is a city in the Indian state of Jharkhand .
The city of Phusro is located in the Bokaro district to the east of Jharkhand. The city is located on the northern bank of the Damodar 17 km below the Tenughat Dam . It is located just under 20 km northwest of the Bokaro Steel City agglomeration . Phusro is connected to the railway network. As a city, Phusro has the status of Nagar Parishad . At the 2011 census, Phusro had 89,178 inhabitants.
