Ploumagoar [ plumagwaʁ ] ( Breton Plouvagor ) is a French municipality with 5434 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the district Guingamp and eponymous canton Guingamp . The inhabitants are called Ploumagoarien (ne) .

geography

Ploumagoar is bounded to the west by the Trieux river . Ploumagoar is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Guingamp and Saint-Agathon in the north, Saint-Jean-Kerdaniel in the northeast, Lanrodec in the east, Saint-Péver in the south, Saint-Adrien in the southwest, Couadout in the west and Grâces in the northwest.

The National Route 12 runs through the municipality .
