Squiffiec ( Breton : Skiñvieg ) is a French municipality with 762 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Guingamp and the canton of Bégard . The inhabitants are called Squiffiécois .
geography
Squiffiec is about eight kilometers north of Guingamp and 30 kilometers southeast of Lannion am Trieux , which forms the eastern municipal boundary. Squiffiec is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Plouëc-du-Trieux in the north, Saint-Clet in the north-east, Pommerit-le-Vicomte in the east and south-east, Trégonneau in the south, Kermoroc'h in the south-west and Landebaëron in the west and south-west.
