Plouisy ( Breton Plouizi ) is a French municipality with 1,980 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the district Guingamp and eponymous canton Guingamp . The inhabitants are called Plouysien (ne) s .

geography

Plouisy is about 40 kilometers west-northwest of Saint-Brieuc . The Trieux borders the community in the east. Plouisy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Kermoroc'h in the north, Tregonneau in the north and northeast, Pabu in the east, Guingamp in the southeast, Grâces in the south, Moustéru in the southwest, Tréglamus in the west and southwest, Pédernec in the west and Saint-Laurent in the northwest.

Route nationale 12 runs through the south of the municipality .
