Trégonneau ( Breton : Tregonev ) is a French commune with 576 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the Brittany region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Guingamp and the canton of Bégard . The inhabitants are called Trégonnois (es) in French .

The increasing mechanization of agriculture has led to a decline in the number of inhabitants to the lowest levels in recent times. In the last few decades the population has increased significantly due to its proximity to the small town of Guingamp .
