Regional Court of Obergünzburg

The district court of Obergünzburg was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1804 to 1879 and was based in Obergünzburg in what is now the Ostallgäu district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

In 1804, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the district court of Obergünzburg was established. This came to the newly founded Illerkreis with the capital Kempten .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the District Court of Obergünzburg was established, the district of which was congruent with the previous District Court district of Obergünzburg and thus from the places Aitrang , Blöcktach , Burg , Ebersbach , Friesenried , Hopferbach , Huttenwang , Immenthal , Kraftisried , Obergünzburg, Reinhardsried , Ronsberg , Unterthingau , Untrasried and Willofs existed.
