The district court of Obergünzburg was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959 and was based in Obergünzburg .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Obergünzburg, the district of which is congruent with the previous district court district of Obergünzburg and thus from the places Aitrang , Blöcktach , Burg , Ebersbach , Friesenried , Hopferbach , Huttenwang , Immenthal , Kraftisried , Obergünzburg, Reinhardsried , Ronsberg , Unterthingau , Untrasried and Willofs existed. The higher authority was the Kempten Regional Court .

After the war-related downgrading of the District Court of Obergünzburg to a branch of the District Court of Markt Oberdorf and the official confirmation of this measure in 1956, the Obergünzburg court was finally dissolved on July 1, 1959 by order of the Bavarian State Minister of Justice .
