Canihuel ( Breton Kanuhel ) is a French municipality with 355 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Guingamp and the canton of Rostrenen . In addition, the place is a member of the community association Kreiz-Breizh founded in 1993 . The inhabitants are called Canihuelois (es) .

geography

Canihuel is located about 31 kilometers southwest of Saint-Brieuc in the south of the Côtes-d'Armor department on the Sulon River . The menhirs of Goresto stand northeast of Canihuel.
