Club career

Zoubek began playing football at Sokol Hrusice, and when he was twelve he moved to the youth department of Dukla Prague . He did his military service in Kostelec nad Orlicí , then played for Alfa Brandýs nad Labem for two years. In 1994 the midfielder was committed by SK Hradec Králové and made his debut in the first division. After the stations at FK Turnov, Spolana Neratovice, SK Pardubice and Kaučuk Kralupy nad Vltavou, he returned to Hradec Králové in 1998.

In a league game in the 2000/01 season, the number on his shirt was torn off by an opponent , Zoubek continued playing and was then cautioned by the referee . After the number was re-attached with tape, it fell down as the game progressed, whereupon Zoubek kicked the number and was removed from the field by the referee. Zoubek picked up the number and stuck it on the referee's back. The Czech Football Association sentenced him to a fine of 10,000 crowns for this .

In early 2004, Zoubek was signed by the Belarusian top club Dinamo Minsk, with whom he won the national championship. He also managed a sensational hit with a side pull, which was determined to be goal of the year.

In autumn 2005 he returned to the Czech Republic and joined FC Střížkov, which was later renamed FK Bohemians Prague . With Bohemians he was promoted to the 2nd division in 2007 , and a year later to the Gambrinus League . At the beginning of 2010, Zoubek switched to SK Kladno .
