The metro station is located at the intersection of College Avenue , Elm Street and Holland Street and is completely barrier-free accessible.

As part of the Arts on the Line program , four works of art were installed in and outside of the station:

  • The work "Ten Figures" by James Tyler consists of ten life-size figures made of concrete , which are distributed near the entrances across Davis Square .
  • 249 tiles designed by schoolchildren adorn a wall on the mezzanine floor of the ward and were arranged by Jack Gregory and Joan Wyezum for the work “Children's Tile Mural”. In 2009, some local artists went looking for the children, who were already between 35 and 40 years old at the time, in order to find out their associated story.
  • Lines of poems are embedded in the floor in various places, which together form the work “Poetry” and come from different authors.
  • The work "Sculpture With a D" by Sam Gilliam consists of a large, abstract sculpture .

environment

There is a connection to six MBTA bus routes at the station. There are also 165 bicycle parking spaces available.

Tufts University and Davis Square are in the immediate vicinity of the station .
