Davor Bernardić (born January 5, 1980 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian politician ( SDP ). He has been party leader of the SDP since 2016.
Life
Davor Bernardić graduated from the University of Zagreb with a degree in physics in 2007 . From 2009 to 2014 he also completed a degree in finance at the University of Zagreb . He then was the managing director of the MBA program at the Cotrugli Business School in Zagreb until 2017 .
From 2005 he was a board member of the Zagreb branch of the SDP. From 2007 he was a member of the Zagreb City Council. In the parliamentary elections in November 2007 he was first elected to the Sabor , of which he has been a member since January 2008.
From 2012, Bernardić was a member of the SDP board. In November 2016, he was elected party chairman to succeed Zoran Milanović . He resigned from this post in July 2020 after his party's poor performance in the general election . Zlatko Komadina was appointed acting party chairman .
