Dayao (Chuxiong)
Dayao (大姚县; Pinyin : Dàyáo Xiàn) is a district that belongs to the administrative area of the Chuxiong Autonomous District of the Yi in the north-central part of the Chinese province of Yunnan . It has an area of 4,146 km² and has a population of 280,000. Its main town is the large community of Jinbi (金碧 镇).
The Dayao White Pagoda (Dayao Baita 大 姚 白塔) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2001 .
Administrative structure
At the community level, the district is composed of three large communities and nine communities . These are:

- Community Zhaojiadian赵家店乡
- Xinjie Township 新 街乡
- Community Tanhua昙华乡
- Guihua Parish 桂花 乡
- Wanbi municipality 湾 碧 乡
- Community Tiesuo铁锁乡
- Parish of Santai三台 乡
- Sanchahe municipality 三岔 河乡
