The De Haven Glacier is a wide glacier on the Banzare coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It flows into the southwest corner of Porpoise Bay .
The American cartographer Gardner Dean Blodgett (* 1925) mapped it in 1955 using aerial photographs of Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in the same year after Edwin De Haven (1816-1865), Acting Master on the sloop USS Vincennes , flagship of the United States Exploring Expedition (1838-1842) under the direction of the American polar explorer Charles Wilkes .
