The Porpoise Bay is a large, icy bay at the Banzare coast of the East Antarctic Wilke country . It lies between Cape Goodenough and Cape Morse .
The American polar explorer Charles Wilkes named the bay after the Porpoise , one of the ships of his United States Exploring Expedition (1838–1842).
