Cape Morse is a low, icy cape that marks the east side of the entrance to Porpoise Bay and the border between the Banzare coast and the Clarie coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland .
The cape was mapped using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy during Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after William H. Morse, servant of the paymaster of the Porpoise in the United States Exploring Expedition (1838-1842) under the direction of Charles Wilkes .
