The Clarie Coast is a stretch of coast in Wilkesland, East Antarctica . It extends from Cape Morse at 130 ° 10 'E to Pourquoi Pas Point at 136 ° 11' E.
The coast was discovered in January 1840 during the Third French Antarctic Expedition (1837–1840) led by Jules Dumont d'Urville . D'Urville named the coast after Clarie Jacquinot, wife of Honoré Jacquinot (1815-1887), surgeon and zoologist on the ship La Zelee on this research trip .
