deLillos is a Norwegian rock band formed in Oslo in 1984 . The band has been one of the most important groups on the Norwegian music scene since the 1980s.

Career

Together with the Raga Rockers , DumDum Boys and Jokke & Valentinerne , deLillos are referred to as one of the four greats in Norwegian rock . deLillos were mainly shaped by the lyrics and the characteristic voice of the front man Lars Lillo-Stenberg. The exclusively Norwegian lyrics are kept in a naive style, which is particularly evident in important songs such as “Min beibi dro avsted” (“My darling made it off”) and “Tøff i pyjamas” (“Tough in pajamas”), both from their debut album Suser avgårde , can be recognized.

In 1993 the group received the Spellemann Prize in the “Rock” category for the album Neste sommer . In 1995 they won the "Best Group" award for the album Sent og tidlig. They were also nominated several times in the categories "Rock" and "Pop Group".

The song Hjernen er alene is part of the soundtrack of the Norwegian youth series Skam (3rd season, episode 9).
