The De Witt River is a river in the extreme southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
The river has its source around four kilometers north of Mount Hean in the De Witt Range in the west of the Southwest National Park . From there it flows to the southeast and flows into the Davey River just before it flows into Payne Bay .
