The Dealul Bălăneşti ("Bălăneşti Hill") is a hill and with a height of 430 m the highest point in the Republic of Moldova .
The Bălăneşti Hill is located in the western part of Moldova near the Romanian border, about 60 km west of the Moldovan capital Chișinău , halfway between Călărași in the interior and Ungheni on the western border of the country. It was named after the village of Bălăneşti on the southwestern side . The area belongs to the Nisporeni Rajon . The village of Căbăieşti is five kilometers to the east.
