The Dean Nunatakker are two Nunatakkers in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Hudson Mountains they rise 10 km east-northeast of Mount Moses .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them using their own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1970 after William S. Dean from Pleasanton , Texas , who served the exploration teams in Ellsworthland between 1968 and in 1969 and other field research units of the United States Antarctic Research Program had served for over three years in the amateur radio service as a point of contact in the United States .
