The Deans Brook is a watercourse in the London Borough of Barnet , England . It arises as an outflow from Stoney Wood Lake at Mill Hill Golf Course on the east side of the M1 . It crosses under the highway and is dammed into a lake in Stoneyfields Park . It flows in a south-westerly direction to its confluence with the Edgware Brook where the Silk Stream is formed.
