Deathfist is a German thrash metal band from Solingen and Koblenz that was founded in 2008.
history
The band was founded in October 2008 by singer Corinna Becker and guitarist Markus Wichmann. Shortly afterwards, drummer Tormentor joined the line-up, followed by bassist Martin Bastian. Shortly thereafter, in March 2009, they recorded songs for their first EP. It was released in June 2009 under the name Demons via High Roller Records . The first live performance followed in July. The band spent the summer writing new material. Towards the end of the summer Tormentor left the band and was replaced by drummer Jan Luchtenberg. In December 2009 and January 2010 the band continued to write new songs, which resulted in their debut album Too Hot to Burn . The album was released in the same year on CD by Pure Steel Records and on vinyl by High Roller Records.

The band plays classic Thrash Metal, and influences from Black Metal can also be heard here and there.
