High Roller Records is a German music label based in Zwickau that specializes in heavy metal , NWOBHM and various derivatives thereof.
The label was founded by Steffen Boehm in 2003 and operated exclusively by him until 2009. The label sells albums by artists who have been signed by themselves (e.g. High Spirits and Protector ), as well as re-releases by bands such as Dark Angel , Exumer , Exodus or Possessed . There is also a comprehensive range of mail orders. The label specializes in vinyl and in this format sells twice as many units on some sound carriers as on the corresponding CD version.
