The band was founded in 2002 by Henrik Helenius, Niklas Lindström, Gottfrid Åhman and Uno Bruniusson. The following year Åhman's brother Pelle joined the band as a singer, and again a year later the band released their first, self-titled demo recording . After Helenius left, who was replaced by Mattias Gustavsson in 2006, a second demo called Hidden Dangers was released . At the beginning of 2008 the band released a single with the same title with two songs on the Swedish label SMP Records, and at the end of the year their first album on Pure Steel Records ( CD edition) and High Roller Records ( vinyl edition). Appearances at some smaller European metal festivals , such as Keep It True and Up The Hammers, followed, as did Gustavsson's exit from the band. This was replaced in 2010 by Henrik Palm, the band also signed a contract with Metal Blade Records . The recordings for the band's second album began in November in the Gutterview Studios in Stockholm , operated by Nicke Andersson , and produced by Fred Estby . The album was released on May 20, 2011, and the band subsequently played at Metalcamp and Wacken Open Air, among others .
