Bunker 66 is an Italian black and thrash metal band from Messina that was founded in 2007.
history
The band was formed in 2007 and consisted of bassist and singer Damien Thorne, guitarist Bone Incinerator and drummer Desekrator of the Altar. After they had developed the first songs, the EP Out of the Bunker followed in 2009 via Reinig Records . A live album under the name Alive & Melting followed in 2011 via Cargo Records , before a split release appeared the following year together with Barbarian via Doomentia Records . In the same year, the debut album Infernö Interceptörs appeared on High Roller Records .
style
According to Florian Dammasch from metal.de, the band on Infernö Interceptörs play a mixture of black and thrash metal. The group is reminiscent of Nocturnal Breed in terms of appearance , while it sounds like a “simpler version of AURA NOIR , crossed with a snotty NIFELHEIM and MOTÖRHEAD undertone and the bass monster son of CARPATHIAN FOREST ”. Dammasch found the lyrics of the songs to be clichéd.
