Procession is an Epic Doom band that in 2006 the Chilean Valparaíso was founded. The band has now relocated to Sweden .

history

The band was formed in 2006 by guitarist and singer Felipe Plaza and bassist Daniel Perez. After they had developed the first songs, the first demo Burn followed in May 2008 via Kuravilu Productions . Iron Kodex Records became aware of the group through the demo , which was followed by the EP The Cult of Disease in 2009 . Due to the success of the EP, appearances in Germany , Belgium , Switzerland , Ireland and France followed, whereby the band also played at festivals such as the Doom Shall Rise or the Keep It True . In 2010 the debut album Destroyers of the Faith was released on Doomentia Records and in Germany on High Roller Records . The second album To Reap Heavens Apart followed on High Roller Records.

style

The band played classic Doom Metal on their debut album Destroyers of the Faith , which is particularly variable in speed and comparable to the works of Black Sabbath , Solstice , Warning and Candlemass . The band also played classic Doom Metal on their second album To Reap Heavens Apart , comparable to the early works of Candlemass, Saint Vitus or Solitude Aeturnus .
