Déborah Gyurcsek

Déborah Olivera Gyurcsek (born December 7, 1978 ) is a Uruguayan athlete .

Depending on the sources, the 1.63 meter or 1.64 meter tall pole vaulter , who weighed 58 kg in competition in 2011, won the silver medal at the 1998 South American Games with a jumped height of 4.00 meters. Around two years later, Gyurcsek took part with the Uruguayan squad at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney . There she finished 21st in the qualifying round with a skipped 4.15 meters and thus missed the final. In 1999 , 2003 , 2007 and 2011 she also belonged to the Uruguayan team at the Pan American Gameson. At the games in 1999 in Winnipeg , Canada , she jumped a bronze medal with a mark of 4.15 meters.

She set her personal best with a jump of 4.23 meters in 2000. This record, set in Cochabamba on July 23, 2000, is also the Uruguayan national record . The 3.77 meters jumped by Gyurcsek in Saskatoon on February 28, 1998 also mean the Uruguayan indoor record.
