The Dee Piedmont Glacier is a foreland glacier on the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies between the ridge of Pavie Ridge and the mouth of the Clarke Glacier on the east side of Mikkelsen Bay .
Participants in the British Graham Land Expedition (1934–1937) and the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (1948–1950) carried out surveys. Trimetrogon recordings were made in November 1947 during the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the glacier in 1962 after the English mathematician John Dee (1527–1608), who taught navigation methodology for 30 years at a time of intensified British expansion.
