The Dee River (or River Dee ) is a river in the center of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river arises in the Dee Lagoon in the Mud Hills east of Brontë from Jacksons Creek and Mentmore Creek . From there it flows south, passes under the Lyell Highway east of Chapmans Hill and flows into the Derwent River about three kilometers southwest of the settlement of Ouse .
