history
The band was completed by the cousins Kaj and Joachim Kiviniemi. In the same year the EP Julia was released . In 2003 they released their debut album Ivory Tower and advertised it on a European tour. Kaj Kiviniemi has been replaced by Miska Holopainen on bass.
In 2004 the new drummer Ville Kinaret came with the second album Red Lights, White Lines to replace Joachim Kiviniemi, who had left the club. The song Hurricane Season made it to number 1 on the Finnish singles charts for a week.

Bassist Miska Holopainen left the band in June 2006 and was replaced by Jore Rantalainen. The following October, the album One Minute Too Late was released.
Tero Roininen joined the band in 2009, and later that year Deep Insight won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Finnish Act and was also nominated for Best European Act .
