Dehqonobod (Chatlon)
Dehqonobod is a jamoat in Chatlon Province in southwest Tajikistan . The population of Dehqonobod is 22,666.

location
Dehqonobod lie in the southwest of the country, near the border with Afghanistan , which by the flow Panj is marked. The regionally important city of Farkhor is about five kilometers south , the capital Dushanbe is about 150 kilometers north. In the immediate vicinity of Dehqonobod, the A385 runs one of the most important trunk roads in the country. This connects Dehqonobod with, among others, Dushanbe.
Infrastructure
The entire region in southern Tajikistan suffers from inadequate infrastructure and problems with the water supply, including Dehqonobod. Important canals run in the Jamoat that guarantee the water supply of the Hamadoni district and the local agriculture. During his visit to Dehqonobod in October 2014, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon announced the construction of a new school for up to 640 students. In May 2015, a mudslide occurred in Dehqonobod as a result of heavy rainfall , which caused considerable damage to the infrastructure, including the destruction of a bridge.
