Deividas Sirvydis (born June 10, 2000 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian basketball player .
career
Sirvydis was trained in the youth department of Lietuvos rytas , and received his first appearances in the professional team in the 2016/17 season. Between 2016 and 2019, the winger gained experience in Lietuvos rytas' training team, Vilniaus Perlas, in the Lithuanian second division. In 2018 he was named the best player in the final tournament of the U18 Euroleague . In June 2019, the Dallas Mavericks first secured the rights to Sirvydis in the NBA draft proceedings , but then handed them over to the Detroit Pistons . It was agreed that the Lithuanian would not initially move to the United States , but would continue his career in his home country for the time being.
National team
Sirvydis took part in the age groups U16 (winning the silver medal) and U18 with Lithuania's national teams in European championships.
