Dek ( Amharic ደቅ ደሴት Däq Däset ) is the largest island in Lake Tana in Ethiopia . The island is 16 km². About 5000 inhabitants live on it. The island forms a kebele . This belongs to the woreda Bahir Dar Zuria in the Mirab Gojjam zone (West Gojjam) in the Amhara region .

On Dek there are the villages of Gurer, Narga, Korebet, Kota, Woba, Gadena, Kola and Zibed. The main town is Gurer in the southwest of the island. There are two eight-grade schools: the Dek primary school (in Woba) and the smaller Gurer primary school. The secondary school is located on the mainland in Bahir Dar . The Lake Tana Transport Enterprise (LTTE) ferry Bahir Dar – Gorgora calls at Dek and connects it with the mainland.

There are several churches of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church on Dek : Narga Selassie, Kidist Arsema, Kotamariam, Zibed Medehanyalem, Djoga Yohannes and Gadena Giorgi.

The small island of Daga with the monastery Daga Estifanos (ደጋ እስጢፋኖስ) is in front of Dek in the southeast.
