Mohammad Irani

Mohammad Irani ( Persian محمد ایرانی; * 1958 in Ghom ) is an Iranian diplomat who has been Ambassador to Kuwait City ( Kuwait ) since December 17, 2018 .

He is a master of political science .

Career

In 1983 he joined the foreign service and was employed at the embassies in Damascus and Cairo .

From 1996 to 1999 he was Chargé d'affaires in Beirut . From October 1, 2005 to 2007 he was ambassador to Amman . On November 22, 2017, he was Deputy Head of the Middle East, Arabia and North Africa Department and asked the Tunisian government whether it could mediate in the conflict with the Saudi government.
