Delphine Wespiser (born January 3, 1992 in Mulhouse ) is a French model and radio and TV presenter. She was Miss France 2012.
Life
Wespiser grew up in Niedermagstatt, Alsace, in the arrondissement of Mulhouse. After graduating from the Lycée Don Bosco in Landser , she studied International Business Management at the Institut universitaire de technologie (IUT) in Colmar .
She was first named Miss Haut-Rhin 2011 and later in the same year for Miss Alsace 2011 and finally for Miss France 2012. She then took part in the Miss World 2012 election.
She moderates u. a. the TV show Votre Alsace by Alsace20 . In 2014 she was elected to the municipal council of her hometown Magstatt-le-Bas.
Wespiser speaks French, German, English and Alsatian. She is committed to preserving the Alsatian dialect. In collaboration with the writer and retired teacher Yves Bisch, she gives Alsatian lessons in schools and, with Bisch, brought out a CD with basic Alsatian vocabulary. She is also active in animal welfare.
