history

In July 1999, Rainer Binder and Andreas Prüfer, two former managers of Continental AG , founded Delticom in Hanover.

In 2000, Delticom AG started its first online shop for end customers with ReifenDirekt.de , followed in June of the same year with Autoreifenonline.de, the first appearance for dealer customers . In the same year, ReifenDirekt.at, the first foreign shop, was added and received a first financing round from DVC Deutsche Venture Capital Gesellschaft in the amount of 3 million euros.

In September 2004 Delticom AG gained new investors: Nord Holding and RBK (both from Hanover), who thus support further international expansion plans. The company was recognized for being one of the fastest growing, unlisted technology companies in Germany.

In April 2006, Delticom was the number 1 power seller at eBay Motors on the eBay marketplace.

In September 2018, Delticom bought all of the shares in all you need GmbH from the Deutsche Post DHL Group .
