Mireille Delunsch
Mireille Delunsch (born November 2, 1962 in Mulhouse , Alsace) is a French opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
She received her training at the Opéra du Rhin in Strasbourg and made her debut as a flower girl in Parsifal . She first sang Mozart parts, such as Constanze from The Abduction from the Seraglio . For several years she has been one of the most sought-after French singers for Georg Friedrich Handel and Claudio Monteverdi as well as Giuseppe Verdi ( La traviata ) and Benjamin Britten (Gouverness in The Turn of the Screw ). At the 2009 Aix-en-Provence Festival, she sang a much-acclaimed Elektra in the new production of Mozart's opera "Idomeneo" by Olivier Py, with Marc Minkowski and the Musiciens du Louvre - Grenoble .
