The Democratic Front (DF, montenegr. Demokratski front / Демократски фронт ) is a conservative coalition led by the Montenegrin diplomat Miodrag Lekić . Members of the coalition are the New Serbian Democracy (NOVA), the Movement for Change (PzP) and the Democratic Party of Unity (DSJ). The main goal of the DF is to replace the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro (DPS) from Milo Đukanović , which has been in power since 1991. In the parliamentary elections in October 2012 , the coalition won 20 out of 81 seats. In the presidential election in 2013 Lekić participated as a candidate. After the election result, he was narrowly defeated by incumbent Filip Vujanović (from the DPS). Lekić claimed that Vujanović won through massive election fraud. The 2016 parliamentary elections resulted in 18 seats for the DF.
In the parliamentary elections in Montenegro in 2020 , the DF belonged to the electoral alliance Za budućnost Crne Gore .
