Denis Dufour (born October 9, 1953 in Lyon ) is a French composer of instrumental music , electroacoustic music and musique concrète .

Dufour studied first from 1972 in Lyon and between 1974 and 1979 at the Conservatoire de Paris with Ivo Malec new music , music analysis with Claude Ballif as well as electroacoustic music with Pierre Schaeffer and Guy Reibel .
