Denise Benda comes as the daughter of the pianist Sebastian Benda and the pianist Luzia Dias Benda of since the 19th century active family of musicians Benda . After taking lessons from her mother, she first studied with her father at the University of Music in Graz. This was followed by studies with Paul Badura-Skoda at the Vienna University of Music, Rudolf Buchbinder at the Basel University and Murray Perahia at the "Britten-Pears School" in Aldeburgh / England.

Denise Benda has given concerts in 20 countries and has played in Vienna, Salzburg, Prague, London, Manchester, Budapest, Rome, Geneva, Lyon, Moscow, Osaka as a soloist and chamber musician.
