Deniz Sarsilmaz

Deniz Sarsilmaz (born March 16, 1992 in Munich ) is a former German child actor of Turkish descent, who played the role of Deniz, the best friend of the main character Leon, in the second part of the Die Wilden Kerle series.

Sarsilmaz was included in the film story as a replacement for Constantin Gastmann (Fabi), who had broken voice , and thereby took on his role as Leon's “best friend”. With the reappearance of Fabis (Gastmann) in the following third part, however, Deniz was no longer needed as a character and thus "written out" of the film plot again. That's why it didn't appear in the other parts.

Nevertheless, the author Joachim Masannek dedicated a volume of his own to him with the 5th volume of his children's book series on Die wilden Fußballkerle . In addition to Marlon Wessel and Leon Wessel-Masannek , the natural children of the director, Deniz Sarsilmaz was the third actor who had already played in the real wild guys, the Masanneks children's soccer team, which ultimately led to his role in the film.

Apart from a few TV appearances on German and Turkish television, Die Wilden Kerle 2 has remained Sarsilmaz's only film work to this day.
