The monument to Vladimir the Holy ( Ukrainian Па́м'ятник Володи́миру Вели́кому Pamjatnyk Volodymyru Velykomu ) is considered the oldest sculpture - monument in the Ukrainian capital Kiev and is a symbol of the city.

description
The 20.4 meter high monument consists of the 4.4 meter high bronze statue of Vladimir on a 16 meter high octagon in the form of a Byzantine chapel. The statue looks out over the baptismal site of his sons on the Dnieper and holds a cross in his right hand and a grand ducal cap in his left hand. It is a monumental art monument of national importance.
