Dennery Island (also incorrectly: Scorpion Island ) is a small island off the east coast of the island state of St. Lucia .
geography
The uninhabited island is located in Dennery Bay just 150 m from the breakwater in Dennery . The island extends from north to south-east and consists of a larger, oval piece of land in the north and a fishtail-like southern part, which are connected by a narrow dam. There is another rock in the water south-east of the bank. There are several steep sections and a sparse tree population on the island.
